Drug information system
The portal PharmNet.Bund provides information on medicinal products from the drug information system of the competent authorities in order to improve transparency and safety of medicinal products and to monitor the appropriate therapeutic use.

Since 13 February 2025, all medicinal product and authorisation data intended for publication are free of charge.

The information on medicinal products provides the drug information system of the competent authorities BfArM (Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices), PEI (Paul-Ehrlich-Institut) and BVL (Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety).

Due to European authorisations, there are other official sources for medicinal product information in addition to the PharmNet.Bund drug information system.
The HMA website contains information on medicinal products that are authorised in Germany and in various other member states of the European Union or in the European Economic Area. In addition, public assessment reports for marketing authorisations that had to be issued by another member state are also available here.
The European Commission's website can be used to search for centrally or nationally authorised medicinal products.
