Surveillance of Veterinary Sales Data
From January 01, 2011 on pharmaceutical companies and wholesalers are obliged to record the annual distribution of certain veterinary medicinal products and to communicate the total amount to the federal authorities. The total amount is specified by national authorisation number and counted by packages or total amount of product weight or units respectively.
Since January 3rd, 2022: Entry via the BVL portal
Since January 2022, the recording of the annual distribution of certain veterinary medicinal products have been moved to the website of the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL).
The application is currently only accessible in German language.
